24 Hour Surgery
Doctors at Kaiapoi Medical Centre are part of the 24 Hour Surgery on Madras Street, Christchurch. If a patient needs to be seen outside our hours, they can attend the 24 Hour Surgery directly without an appointment.

When Kaiapoi Medical Centre is closed, you can call Healthline on 0800 611 116 for free health advice. Healthcare professionals are available 24 hours a day and will offer the best possible advice.

Practice Plus

We also offer a telehealth afterhours service through Practice Plus, providing same day virtual appointments. This is a separate organisation, not staffed by Kaiapoi Medical Centre, and there is likely a charge for using it. Appointments are available weekdays from 5 pm to 8 pm, and weekends and public holidays from 8 am to 8 pm.
